Kochadaiyaan is an upcoming Tamil period film starring Rajinikanth and directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin (Rajinikanth's daughter) and written by K. S. Ravikumar. The film will feature Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast, including R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by the magician in Music A. R. Rahman. The film will be dubbed in Telugu as Vikrama Simha, and will also be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Japanese and English. As of 2012, Italian and Spanish versions of the film have also been announced. Shooting for the film has been finished, and post-production works are currently going on at London, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
Film is expected to be released on April 2013. This movie has lot of expectation as it is a Rajinikanth's movie and getting released after 2 years of his last release "Endhiran". Lets wish him all the best.
