Sachin Retires from ODI

Sachin retirement was the talk of the Cricket experts in the recent time because of this long patch of poor form. The most prolific run getter in the world ever is 39 years of age. He holds almost every batting record in the book has now retired from ODI cricket and continue only in Test Cricket.

In Sachin's career, he has scored 18426 runs in 463 ODI's. His highest score in ODIs is 200 runs in 2010 against mighty south african attack in Gwalior.

Sachin has scored 49 centuries and 96 fifties in his career. The master batsaman Sachin, who made his debut on December 18, 1988 against Pakistan, played his last ODI March 18, 2012 also against Pakistan in Asia Cup.

Sachin was expected to continue in ODI cricket and score his 50th century. But it was a shock to the cricketing world that Sachin had retired from ODI cricket. It is definite, the team viewers would reduce. People will not like cricket as much as before. People will miss something when they watch Cricket and definitely Sachin would be missed big time. He cannot be replaced by anyone. He gives his 200% in the field and plays for the country. Ricky ponting, during his retirement mentioned as "the greatest batsman he had ever played against". and it is definitely true. Shane Warne "the spin king" also mentioned that "he was afraid to bowl at Sachin". We will Sachin and his attacking cricket. Cricket's future will be known in some more days as pakistan ODI tour is about to begin.
