Though she made her debut in kannada movie, she became popular only after acting with king khan shahrukh khan in "om shanti om" in hindi. From then on, she went up doing lot of bollywood movies and attained a good standing for herself. She became very famous after being linked up with Indian cricket team captain M.S.Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Siddharth Mallya. Her much anticipated film with Rajinikanth "Kochadaiyaan" is expected to be released on April 2013.
